Currently Xerox doesn’t provide Linux CUPS PPDs for their range of printers. The best you can get are extensive (30MB<) Linux packages holding a non-standard proprietary solution suited for personal (workstation) use only. So, how to get an Open Printing solution for a headless server environment?
@jeroen.claus and @eric.lenaerts provided a solution with custom GPL licensed PPDs for:
- AltaLink C8000 Series
- D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printer
- WorkCentre 5800 Series
- WorkCentre 7800 Series
The PPDs can be downloaded from our GitLab savapage-env-printers repository.
